WEEK 15

Well, this week we are going to present the oral presentation about the web 2.0. All these web 2.0 have different purpose into educational field. We are learned the Wiki spaces, edmodo, podomatic, flicker, and so on. These webs are very important to teach English. Some of them help students to reinforce in their learning process. Most of them have the disadvantage and advantage but, I consider that all these tools teach different view in the subject. These are Twitter, Google Maps, Podcasts, Authorstream, Wikispaces, Mappy Friends, http://www.flickr.com/, K12 Lesson plans, Podomatic, WebQuests, Dokeos, Edmodo,and Nicenet. Each of them has different purpose in teaching. However, each tool has different framework for doing exercises or teaching English. For examples  witter is a social network where you can send a message to other people .also you can comment someone photos Google Maps is a web mapping service application and technology provided by Google. Podcast is a type of digital media where you can download music and also you can share with others. However, it is used for listening music. uthorSTREAM you can put your Power Point Presentation in the web. It is very useful for preparing PPT online. A wikis paces is a group of webs where you can share work, ideas, links and pictures. Mappyfriends is a very useful tool where you can find places in the map. It helps us to find place easily. 7. - Flicker is a web site where you can store, order, search and sell photographs. Also, with this tool you can download photos of different place. K12 Lesson plans. - This tool is especially for teachers.  It is essential for teachers to use innovative practices to support teaching and learning and to keep our students motivated and excited about education.  Podomatic. -  This tool is very useful for recording your voice.

10.- Web Quests.- It allows students to have a good knowledge about information provided by teacher. Edmodo. - It is a free, secure, social learning platform for teachers, students, schools and districts.  Nicenet­. - Nicenet is a web-based tool for running an educational program at any level.  In conclusion, all these are very helpful for EFL students in order to study English.
